Having grown up in Bozeman, Montana and spending countless summers on the beaches of California and Oregon, the beauty and mystery of nature have been an ever-present influence on Elaine’s view of the world. This, combined with a unique upbringing which would introduce her to the depths and power of spirituality and mythology, have allowed her to explore and integrate a breadth of subject matter uncommon to most artists. 

The effortless blending of anatomical accuracy with the effervescent and nearly-hypnotizing lines and textures of her animal wildlife and figurative goddesses showcase her innate ability to make tangible the seemingly intangible and imbue this seemingly inert metal with a life that speaks to the observer in a language which comes from somewhere far beyond the verbal.
